Reflections On Pocono

Another good race is in the can.

I have to say it. Pocono is a gorgeous race track.

On the smoothness scale, Bill Weber (in the anchor category) is right up there with the 48.

You’d think the 24 would know better by now not to give up the lead voluntarily to anyone. It seems he’s only really strong when in clean air.

The new rules package is detrimental to just one team – the 18. He now has to wait to pass those 3 or 4 cars he used to jump (legitimately) on restarts. Actually, it’s also to the viewer’s disadvantage since it was always exciting to watch.
