There was a time when it appeared Kurt had ” got his mind right ” too, but that lasted only a bit longer than the effect of the ” shock shop ” on Randle P. McMurphy. So there’s still hope for Kyle’s return.
I’m not 100% certain, but I think I actually heard ol’ D.W. properly pronounce ” Kenseth ” for what may be the first time.
There’s a good chance there won’t be many mosquitoes around Dover Downs for a while. ( Just groping for material here. )
6.3.65: At Nashville, Ned Jarrett’s factory backed Bondy Long Ford was demolished en route to the track when the van towing the car went off the road in a thunderstorm. Jarrett got a Ford from Jabe Thomas and finished 2nd to Dick Hutcherson.
If Ned was in the booth we’d know what’s up with Bobby Gill.
