BAM!a

Another great race is in the can.

Back to the future again for Nascar. Tinkering ad infinitum returns us to the little old spoiler and great racing from yesteryear.

All of the numbers (except attendance and probably TV ratings) plus a unique ending and doubleheader, point to the best ever day at Talladega. Are thereĀ  any objections? The 29 showed us why they call it the Yellowhammer State.

JJ also proved to us with two glaring mental lapses that he is indeed human.

Thanks, Nascar, for another near perfect day of racing.

4.25.76: For “Madhouse” fans, @ Martinsville, Gary Myers finished 11th in the Junior Miller Chevy. DW lapped the field.

4.26.81: Rookie Morgan Shepherd won @ Martinsville in his 15th Cup start. It was Pontiac’s 1st victory in almost 18 years.

If Ned were in the booth we’d know what’s up with Andy Thurman.
