NHMS and too many other tracks should be left to running the Trucks. For whatever the reasons, they are consistently able to provide great racing throughout an event no matter the venue.

Nascar has realized they needed to make a statement for the start of the Chase by changing the schedule for next year. Unfortunately they put little thought into which track should be the site of the kickoff. For a pro’s take on the subject, read Jeff Owens‘ column.

How many times do you think Kevin Harvick can publicly embarass his crew before they turn on him? He’s a tough, determined guy and that certainly comes in handy as a driver and owner, but your employees and co-workers should be chastised in private, not on national TV.
